Background
I designed the layout for “Google Reviews and Customer Conversations: A Comparative Study,” a report analyzing 120,000 customer calls and comparing sentiment data to Google review activity. The goal was to present the findings clearly and show how Marchex’s Sentiment Suite can help businesses understand customer emotions in real time.
A key challenge was making dense charts easy to read. I recreated the researcher’s original charts in a cleaner, on-brand format, removing unnecessary labels and adding callouts to highlight the most important insights.
Throughout the report, I focused on visual storytelling by pairing key findings with supporting visuals to guide the reader through the narrative. The final report was used by the marketing team as gated content.
